## Overview

Contact Points in Aiden allow you to define and manage destinations for notifications and alerts generated by your automated tasks and workflows. By configuring contact points, you can ensure that important updates, errors, or results are delivered to the right people or systems (e.g., email addresses, Slack channels, webhooks).

## Use Cases

You can configure your contact points in workflows like tasks. This will allow you to -

1. Receive task execution results or errors via email.
2. Notify a team in Slack when a scheduled task completes.
3. Integrate with external systems using webhooks for custom automation.

## Configuring Contact Points

1. Access the contact points UI by navigating to `Settings` in the Aiden UI. Click on the `Contact Points` card.
