overview contact points in aiden allow you to define and manage destinations for notifications and alerts generated by your automated tasks and workflows by configuring contact points, you can ensure that important updates, errors, or results are delivered to the right people or systems (e g , email addresses, slack channels, webhooks) use cases you can configure your contact points in workflows like tasks this will allow you to receive task execution results or errors via email notify a team in slack when a scheduled task completes integrate with external systems using webhooks for custom automation configuring contact points access the contact points ui by navigating to settings in the aiden ui click on the contact points card 2\ to configure a new contact point, click on the add contact point button add the name , select the type , and add the required configuration for the respective contact point types for example, comma separated email ids in the case of email type 3\ to edit, delete, enable, or disable a contact point, use the action buttons corresponding to each contact point in the contact points page
